Tyna Company - Calling Job Advertised on Seek 12-03-08?

Greetings,

This is more a cautionary notice than a question, because somewhere out there, someone will soon be asking whether this job is for real.

This job advertisement is almost identical to that of the Proofreader position with Sante Magazine, also advertised on Seek, which proved to be a vehicle for money laundering activities.

This advert was reported to Seek early hours of this morning within an hour of the job being posted and was promptly removed pending further investigation. This job advert has also been posted on mycareer.com.au and has been removed.

yahoo character restriction causes reply to fail, workaround?

I posted an answer, and the original poster chose to contact me for more information. I of course recieved an email with his message and a link to click to allow me to respond. I have used that function before.

Apparently, he chose a subject line that was equal to the character cap. Yahoo automatically placed “RE: ” in front of it, and the character count reads -4

-If I leave it unchanged I cannot send my message

-If delete all of it, I get 0 characters left, and as soon as I type a character it appears for just a second and then disappears and repeats the 0 characters left message

-if I delete PART of it, the rest of it disappears and I get the 0 characters left and any key i hit is displayed for an instant before disappearing.

bad code on yahoo’s part, how do I work around it?

Keep in touch before meeting from personals?

*GUYS* Someone wrote me on Yahoo personals and we talked on the phone and hit it off. We are planning to meet in about 2 weeks. Should I stay in touch between then - if so, how often? I want to stay “top-of-mind” and show interest - but don’t want to appear needy or psycho. I’m not good at the “dating game” Thanks.

Why don`t women respond to yahoo personals?

I`ve had 3 or 4 women say to e-mail them and they will respond, i don`t think the sight even is updated regularly, it seems like a waste of money, or the single women out there are just to scared to respond, why join if your not going to do anything with it!

What is the best way for many people to post photos to a Yahoo Group site?

I need a way for 20-30 people to post and up to 100 people to view photos taken at a family reunion. We have a Yahoo Group web page already. All potential users have the skills to access a web site, but some of those who will be providing photos are relatively unsophisticated computer users with slow telecom service. I’ve looked at Flickr, but it doesn’t seem to do batch uploads to a Yahoo Group web page.

why don’t the nisei.?

constantly complain about being enslaved because of their race? i know it didn’t go on as long as other enslaved groups, but they were torn from their homes, families were broken up, they were used and raped, humiliated beyond repair, locked away, called names like the j-word and this happened just lately. many are still alive today! i just never seem to read their posts on yahoo answers. why is that?
the question is why don’t they constantly complain about it.
