McCain Supporters: Does this statement by a UN official really pi$$ u off?

From today’s Washington Post: “We do not consider him an African American,” said Congo’s U.N. ambassador, Atoki Ileka. “We consider him an African.”

As for me, I am horrified.

Obama supporters, don’t even answer. You people drank the Kool-Aid long ago and you simply disgust me.
Even more horrific is that Obama supporters are coming on here wondering what’s wrong with that. Amazing….just amazing.

Why do disasters, diseases, and terrible things like genocide increase Christian Faith?

An acquantance of mine, who is also a Minister of the born again christians, said that Natural Disasters, plagues, diseases and terrible things like genocide are actually a good thing because it increases one’s faith in God. He said for example, that according to the Washington Post, 80% of survivors of Hurricane Katrina said that their faith was stronger than ever.

These people prayed for deliverance of these horrible attrocities, and God turns a deaf ear to them. Yet their faith is enhances. I’m missing the logic in this. Can you explain?

CHRISTIANS: When 95% of Americans are having premarital sex, isn’t it unrealistic to promote abstinence?

Here’s the source, from the Washington Post:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/19/AR2006121901274.html

I mean, obviously most people can’t live by “Christian ethics”, so is it really even worth teaching abstinence and waiting until marriage anymore?
@ Bear: Come back to me when 95% of Americans are murderers, okay?

Does it make any difference to you?

Rumors say Hillary is gay, or bi. Does it matter?

Just like the words “Catholic”, “Skinny”, “Blonde” or “Bigot”, .. would it make any difference to you IF *Hillary is ***?

Ellen’s endorsement:
http://tv.popcrunch.com/ellen-degeneres-endorses-hillary-clinton-video/

And, it is also rumored, that the Washington Post is sitting on the (gay) *story about Hillary, until she’d win the Dem. nomination, to THEN drop the bomb in the papers, to insure a McCain win.

What do you think about those possibilities?
This was a very serious question, not meant to stir up anything! I stated the reason I asked. IF the media brings it up, once Hillary is the Dem. nominee, would it push McCain in.

Don’t be so thin skinned about Hillary. I really wondered, if it would matter, to have this exposed AFTER the 08 Primaries? Its not that bad!

I read I read in the Washington Post that it costs between 12 to 20 cents AN HOUR to keep your computer on?

Is this true?
Does it save money if you put it on stand by?
Is it harmful to turn your computer on and off multiple times during the day, not to mention inconvenient?

Troy can be characterized as someone who has trouble with truth. Do you think that he is unaware that he?

Troy can be characterized as someone who has trouble with the truth. Do you think that he is unaware that he is lying about or exaggerating his experiences, or is he deliberately trying to “prove himself” to other characters? How is his disillusionment/ lying comparable to Willy’s in Death of a Salesman?

we are putting the best answer in the washington post.. it need to be at least 3 paragraphs
