How does an illegal alien become legal after marring in the United States?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a while and we have a son. We have been talking about getting married. How does he become legal after wards if we get married in the United States. Also how long does the legal process take.

Important question to Muslims or ones versed in Islam, please?

I had just posted this question in other category, but know I will not be getting correct answer. What is it known in the Muslim community about a certain rule_excuse my lack of knowledge for a better word, since I’m not familiar with your religion_in which it is perfectly permitted in Iran for ********** men, or the transgendered_those that believe themeselves to be of the other gender_to go through the *** change operation, etc.

I saw a documentary or similar program nearly a year ago here in the United States, in which a few of these transgendered people were showcased. These men were wearing women’s clothing, jewelry and bit of makeup.

According to documentary, an Ayatollah had prescribed certain treatments for them, all humane. And had explained their condition or situation in a religious manner when he set this rule. And if this is the case, how come Ahmadinejad does not know this? Apparently all this is done openly in IRAN.

College Scholarship Question?

I’m going to be going to a college in Arkansas. I got some scholarship money and maybe i’ll be getting some more…the college i’m going to has an approximate cost of $18,500 a year. I was talking to my friend about scholarships and she said the government puts a cap on how much you can accept in scholarships. She said it’s about a $18,000 cap. Is there a cap in Arkansas or in the United States that says you can’t accept more than a certain amount in scholarships? If so, what is it and where is that posted?

This question is in NO way intended to “start” anything with any countries, as I have the ultimate respect for our allies.

Do you think that our allies (England, Germany, etc.) would feel vunerable (economicaly and security) if the United States was not the world power it is today? Also, do you think the europian union would be as powerful as it is today if it wernt for America?

Please no **** posts, this is a question for educational purposes.

I live in miami. But it should be about the same in the United states.
I am going to drop off some mail at tyhe post office. The mailman does pick up the mail later on in the day as well right?

What city was marijuana legalized in?

I was watching TV recently, and I saw part of a news flash, about a city that now had marijuana legalized, pretty much the most of what i heard was that people from this city were now able to by marijuana from goverement sanctioned shops without the fear of prosecution.

I don’t want or care for posts that don’t answer my question, including why this is stupid or not.
The city IS in the United States, yes.
I think you guys are misunderstanding my question, the marijuana is not for medicinal purposes at all, it is for recreational.
